Heat resistant clear covers were specifically designed for tape binding systems (Fastback).  They are made from 7mil heat stable clear polyester that won't melt, buckle, warp or bow like the traditional clear vinyl covers.  These polyester covers have a high melting point and won't cause any problems in your tape binding system.
