Double loop wire (twin loop) is offered in two pitches depending upon the thickness of your book. The 3:1 pitch is for the sizes ¼"-9/16", and the 2:1 pitch is for 5/8"-1 ¼" books. This is standard throughout the industry, and doesn't change from one manufacturer to the next.
