Pressure sensitive lamination film doesn't require thermal heat. It typically comes in thinner gauges like 2 or 3mil. Most of the pressure sensitive laminate film has a peel off liner on the film and comes in a 3" core. Typically it isn't as clear as thermal laminate, but it bonds to most substrates and applications. The initial start up machine cost is cheaper than thermal machines, but the film is usually 2-3 times more expensive.
