The technology on coil insertion has changed a lot in the last 3-5 years, and most of today's coil inserters aren't equipped to insert 36" coil. When Performance Design introduced one of the first table top coil inserters in the U.S. in the 1990's the technology was designed for 36" coil. Today almost all of the inserters are designed to insert 12" coil. The CI3000 made by Rhin-O-Tuff still has the capability to insert 12" and 36" coil.
